Call for Applications: Master of Public Administration (MPA)

Applications are now open for the Master of Public Administration at The City College of New York!
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) at The City College of New York (CCNY), based at the Moynihan Center, prepares a new generation of civic leaders for impactful careers in government, nonprofits, and community organizations serving New York and beyond. Our program equips students with the professional competencies and critical capacities needed to navigate complex governance challenges.
A distinctive learning experience in the heart of New York City:
- Gain real-world insight from practitioner faculty working in NYC’s civic sector
- Apply developing skills to community challenges through coursework and a capstone project addressing real needs
- Connect deeply in small classes of 15-20 students
- Access graduate education affordably through evening classes and CUNY tuition
Application Timeline:
- Priority deadline: March 2, 2026
- Final deadline: May 12, 2026

The CCNY MPA Program has joined the Moynihan Center, deepening our capacity to develop civic leaders at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The integration will bring practitioners and emerging public service professionals into the Center's distinctive ecosystem, strengthening our connections to New York's civic sector and enabling us to cultivate leaders across the full arc of their careers—from fellowship through graduate study and into practice.
