Public Scholars Fellowship

Scholarship. Practice. Engagement.

Moynihan Public Scholars are academic researchers, public service practitioners, and writers or journalists with a demonstrated ability for blending heterodox thought, political engagement, and popular communication. Like Senator Moynihan, Public Scholars pursue bold, heterodox ideas in service of the public good. Public Scholars receive robust unrestricted awards and spend up to one year at City College writing, teaching, and participating in a thriving intellectual community that includes yearly cohorts of Moynihan Public Service Fellows.
